I am a creative and cultural producer working across disciplines with a specialism in sound, digital and technology. I work directly with artists to realise ideas, and with venues and organisations to devise and deliver public programmes and projects.
Between 2014 and 2019 I produced and co-directed Music Hackspace, a London platform for experimenting and interacting with sound and technology. Building the community over six years and during a three-year residency at Somerset House Studios, I curated an innovative programme of talks, workshops and performances, delivering artist development and residency programmes whilst leading the strategy and operations of the organisation. Artists featuring in the programme included Anna Meredith, Christian Marclay, Ewa Justka, Meuko! Mueko!, Leslie Deere, Maria Chavez, Alex McLean, Tom Richards and many more.
In 2020 I co-founded Mutant Promise, a producing and artist development agency working with experimental musicians and artists to devise skill-sharing programmes and digital commissions. Artists featuring in the programme include Marta Salogni, Johann Diedrick, Joanne Armitage, NSDOS, Amosphère, Jazmin Morris and many more. In 2023 Mutant Promise received the Creative Commission for Climate Action fund from the British Council.
In 2022 I worked with Studio Danmole as Co-Curator to develop Grow FM, a public programme and community radio station at Chiswick House and Gardens, exploring well-being, mental health, community and identity, powered by young local voices in Hounslow. Conversations and music shows featured Zakia Sewell, Nozomu Matsumoto, Abbas Zahedi, hmurd and affect lab amongst many more.
