‘Climatotherapy’ was a performance installation developed from Matsumoto’s release of the same name on UK label The Death of Rave (RAVE024), by artists Nozomu Matsumoto and Nile Koetting. Household audio technologies and corporate messages weaved through musical reproductions to create an ever-changing soundtrack for our relationship with ever-changing technologies, a physical manifestation of the dialogue between mass industry and human environment. Subsequently the project became ‘Immunotherapy’ a performance installation programme at Talion Gallery in Tokyo, which considered advanced issues in Japan, such as nursing care and communication through social robots in a super-aging society.
